Goddess of Spring
Ostara is the goddess to whom pagans offered cakes and coloured eggs at the Vernal Equinox. White rabbits were sacred to her and she was believed to take forms of rabbit as well. The Spring Equinox marks the beginning of the Sun God’s seminal journey across the sky, bringing light and warmth to overpower the darkness of winter.
